IllumiNation Luncheon

In March and April of this year, I had the blessed opportunity of responding to God’s call to go to the utter most parts of India and Africa. My heart was burdened with the burning question, “God, how can I…How can Able Missions make a greater impact in these dark places for the sake of Your Holy Name?” The darkness, devastation, lost and hardened hearts, idol worship and deception are forever etched on my mind. Oh, my heart bleeds when I close my eyes and remember this dying world.
I am reminded of Numbers 13 & 14 when the spies reported back to the Israelite community. The majority of the spies responded in fear, ready to stone their leader and turn back to Egypt. My prayer is that I will respond as Caleb and Joshua, with a different spirit and follow God wholeheartedly. Yes, we still face giants in the land filled with darkness but God is Able. God wants to give us the land filled with fruit and flowing with milk and honey.
Missionaries are our Caleb’s and Joshua’s who are positioned in the field. As followers of Christ Jesus, we are all missionaries called to carry out the purposes of God in our homeland and distant lands, when I asked God how to make an impact, He answered.  He said, “Go…edify, encourage, and equip these leaders. My Calab’s and Joshua’s need you to bring them refreshment so they can be renewed, strengthened, and encouraged. Bring them  a fresh wind that they can endure and look to Me to complete the good work I began in them.”
My response was “Yes, Lord.” As a result, we devoloped The IllumiNation Women’s Conference. We plan to take this conference all over the world to edify, encourage, and equip women for God’s Glory. We want to provide women with concrete spiritual tools using deep Biblical teaching so that they will be able to minister with  a renewed spirit.
The first IllumiNation Women’s Conference will be in Indonesia, September 2010 as a team of women will be traveling there. Please pray for the team as we minister to a group of women and bring them the refreshment of The Word.
Come…Let your True Light shine.
In Him,
Angie Williams
